Fun Ways to Spend Time with Your Favourite Equine

A horse is one of the favoured animals around as there are lots of fun things you can do with it. If you are fed up with just taking it round the field, it is time to broaden your horizons and find other enjoyable ways to spend time with it. If you have the spare time, there are plenty of fun ways to spend time with your equine.

Take it to the Beach

Everyone loves the beach and you can be assured that your horse will adore it just as much as the rest of us. If the weather allows it, ride your horse along the beach as it will enjoy the open space and it is a great way to give it some exercise.

Move Faster

As long as your horse can take it and you are experienced in riding it, why not pick up the pace a little? Most horses enjoy riding fast and it will be a good adventure for both of you. It also gives you some great experience and will take you out of your comfort zone.

Change Direction

If you usually take your horse on the same route each time, why not change direction and go somewhere new and different. You can really enhance your enjoyment of your horse if you add some obstacles and try some new games and you can guarantee your horse will love it just as much. Horses can get bored just like humans, so make sure you always keep it entertained. Take some objects with you the next time you go riding and it will keep your equine happy and you will get the most from it. If you are taking them on a long ride, make sure you pack the wormers just in case your horse needs it.

Phone a Friend

If you have a have a friend with a horse, why not take them along with you the next time you go riding? It will be much more enjoyable for you if you have some company and the horse will love having a friend with them as well. You can always take shots of each other’s horses which gives you a new and exciting way of riding.

Trail Riding

Trail riding is available at most parks and can be a whole lot of fun, for both you and the horse. It will give your horse lots of exercise to keep them happy and healthy and it is a good diversion from the field. You can spend hours trail riding and you won’t notice the time going by. It also gives you a good opportunity to meet other horse lovers to spend time with.
