One of the most effective ways to lose weight is to reduce the calories you take in and at the same time increase the amount of calories that your body burns.  Juicing can help with that by replacing some of the bad items that are high in calories with ones that are less calories and just as filling.  The juices also help increase your metabolism and provide a wide variety of vitamins and minerals that are healthier for you.Losing weight by eating less calories than you burn off is fairly easy to calculate by tracking how much you eat and the caloric content vs the amount of exercise you get.  There are roughly 3,500 calories that go into gaining one pound.  If you are eating 2,000 calories a day and burning 2,500 calories a day you are losing 500 calories a day which would equate to about 1 pound a week.
