There are many churches in the world but Jesus Christ in whom we believe built one Church.
In our different denominations we have contrasting doctrines though there is one true Bible.
Christians interpret the Holy Scriptures tangently though God does not change.
Many are the ways that lead to destruction but there is one way to eternal life through Jesus Christ.
With so many versions of the gospel being preached, taught and prophesied the question is, what is the truth?
The answer is highly debatable if we depend on our denominational affiliations or our human faculties so let us rely on God’s word.
“For the law was given by Moses but, grace and truth came by Jesus Christ “John 1 vs.17
Our Savior came to destroy the works of the devil.
God became a man that He might magnify the truth unto the world and free us from error.
When He stood before Pilate in the Judgement Hall, Jesus uttered these words,
“…to this end, I was born and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth…”John 18 vs.37
Brothers and Sisters what you believe, what I believe or what we have been made to believe does not matter but it is truth which matters most.
There is a Father of truth and a father of error; we have the choice to choose whom to serve between the two.
During His earthly ministry, Our Blessed Savior said,
“…If you continue in my word then you are my disciples and you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free “John 8 vs.31-2
Many are they who follow Jesus having accepted the freedom from sin which He alone offers.
However salvation is the beginning of the Christian walk not the end.
When we believe the word of God and accept Jesus Christ we are justified by God’s grace.
As we continue in the word we understand the truth and are sanctified therein.
Fellow brethren when we receive the word of the Most High and continue to abide in it we are set free from sin and death.
But the question still remains what is truth?
In the bible there are three pillars of truth
1. The Holy scriptures,”Thy word is true from the beginning; and every one of His righteous judgements endureth forever” Psalms 119 vs.60
2. The Law,”Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy Law is truth” Psalms 119 vs.142
3. Jesus Christ,” Jesus saith unto him ,I am the way the truth and the life “John 14 vs.6
These are the biblical definitions of truth, study the word, submit to Jesus Christ wholly and reverence the law of God.
I hope and pray that God sanctifies us with the truth that we may be one as He and Jesus are One.
Remember, John 4 vs. 24,”God is a Spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and truth”.
