In 2006, an entirely redesigned model of Audi A4 saloon was introduced, followed by the estate and the cabriolet. This year, Audi offered a few new engines for the A4, equipped with the manual six speed gearboxes. Audi made two significant changes, firstly, the front wheel drive saloons were fitted with continuously variable transmission (CVT) and secondly, the sports version the S-line was updated.  The Audi A4 has always been a fun to drive car ever since its launch. The emissions are 151g/km and the combined economy is 42mpg.

The other unit is a 2.0-litre TDI (140hp) producing 320Nm of torque. The emissions are 153g/km and the combined economy is 41.3mpg. It takes 9.7 seconds for a sprint to 62mph. Then there is a 2.0-litre TDI (170hp) producing 350Nm of torque. It emits 154g/km of carbon and 40.6mpg. Then, a 2.5-litre V6 TDI (163hp) producing 310Nm of torque. It emits 184g/km of carbon and returns a combined economy of 34.6mpg. It takes 8.9 seconds to complete a sprint of 0-62mph. Then, a 2.7-litre V6 TDI (180hp) producing 380Nm of torque. The emissions are 179g/km and the combined economy is 35.1mpg. And the last one is an Audi 3.0-litre V6 TDI (233hp) engine producing 450Nm of torque. The carbon emissions are 204g/km and the combined economy is 31mpg. It takes 6.8 seconds for a sprint of zero to 62mph.
