The New Audi A4 Avant with Quattro Diesel Engine

The Audi has launched the new model of the A4 Avant, the new Audi’s face is very elegant as the head-lamps got new looks and the grille is also revised accordingly. It also has the new sporty S line body kit with 18 inch alloys that look absolutely dashing along with the LED daytime running lamps.The  A4’s passenger cabin is beautifully crafted, although it is not very stylish but the finish is high class. Considering the comfort of the passengers there are a lot of steering wheel and seat adjustments. Other standard features include Bluetooth connectivity for the cell phones with audio streaming, 10-speaker stereo and leather covers.

The cabin also has a three zone climate control system, cruise control, rear-view camera, front and rear parking sensors, floor mats and electric front seats. Engine and road noise is kept at minimal. If we look at the boot, it is beautifully shaped with low loading lip, it’s easy to load and unload stuff. It also has a lots of handy hooks for shopping bags and some extra storage under the floor. A 12v power socket is also placed. It also has a seven inch display screen, hard-drive navigation system, two SD card readers, voice control and 20 Giga bytes of music storage.

The Audi A4 Quattro holds up-to 1430 liters of luggage space with load securing sets and an electromechanical rear tail-gate for easy loading. Another function is off-road detection (ORD) which adapts the control characteristics of ESC stabilisation, according to the condition of driving surface. A4 has been given a maximum five star in Euro NCAP crash test rating thanks to six airbag, traction control and stability control systems. Other safety features are anti-whiplash head restraints, Isofix child seat mounting points for rear seats, blind-spot and lane departure warning systems.

The Audi A4 has a 3.0-litre V6 diesel quattro engine that has 242 bhp, it needs just 5.9 seconds to acquire 60mph. The CO2 emissions are only 154g/km. There are two options available in the Audi A4 diesel engines: a 2.0 TDI or a 2.0 FSI, both of them with permanent Quattro all wheel drive with standard torque vectoring. The Audi A4 2.0 TDI produces 380Nm of torque whereas the Audi A4 2.0 FSI generates 350Nm of torque. Because of the Quattro diesel engine the A4 is a superb all terrain and weather car.
