Allergies are an abnormal response of immune system. People who have allergies have an immune system which reacts with substances usually harmless in the environment. The substance which causes allergies is called allergens. The allergies are a common problem. Usually it occurs when an individual swallow, inhale or getting touch with the allergens. It is very important to know some information everybody about allergies are,
The common allergy symptoms are itching, rash, sneezing, watery eyes these are mild allergy symptom. The moderate allergy symptoms are itchiness and difficulty breathing. Some symptoms are very severe these includes abdominal pain, cramps, dizziness and confusion, vomiting, diarrhea and varying difficulty of swelling that causes difficulty in breathing, and swallowing. Here are some home remedies for allergies.
HOME REMEDIES FOR ALLERGIES
1. Use saline solution: Irrigating the nose with some saline solution will help removing the allergens causing respiratory tract infection from the nasal cavity. In fact saline solution may wash away some inflammatory cells themselves. You can make a fresh saline solution by mixing one teaspoon of salt in a pint of warm water and add a pinch of baking soda.
2. Peppermint tea: Peppermints benefits are extend well beyond its delicious smell and the essential oil acts as an anticongestant. The peppermint contains anti-inflammatory and antibacterial constituents.
To make peppermint tea, place half ounce of dried peppermint leaves in a one quart jar and fill two third of the jar with boiling water and steep for five minutes. Let it cool, strain and drink.
3. Steam your face: Breathing steam refreshes and soothes irritated sinuses and it helps rid the mucous in nasal passages. When you finishes breathing steam use boiled water for a second purpose. Let the water cool until warm, saturate a wash cloth and hold the cloth on sinuses.
4. Air filter: Keeping air in the home can brings the relief from the pollen, mold and pet dander. High energy particulate filters are most efficient. This kind of filters has been shown to remove 99% of air particles without harmful by product.
5. Bleach: Use this cleaning staple in humid areas to kill mold. Wipe down the surfaces as you needed. You can clean your floors, tiles, and sinks with a ¾ cup of bleach per gallon of water. Let it stand for five minutes and then rinse.
6. Almond leaves: Application of smashed almond leaves on the affected area can reduce the itching of allergies
7. Mint mixture: Put five grams of garden mint in water and make a paste and add some sugar. Take this mixture for two times a day.
8. Papaya seeds; Rub the papaya seeds on the affected area can also reduce the itching of allergies.
9. Cider vinegar; Put two spoons of cider vinegar in water and drink this mixture to heal yourself from allergy.
10. Castor oil; Mix five drops of castor oil in any fruits or vegetable juice or plain water. Drink this mixture every morning in an empty stomach can relieve allergies.
