Commonly known as the Apostille Convention, this treaty reduces the document authentication process to a single procedure, where the issuance of an authentication certificate by the designated authority in the country where the document was issued. With this treaty the circulation of public documents amongst the countries that are part of the convention has proved to be very beneficial.
