Thailand is proving to be a flourishing country with growth in the financial sectors. • Passport or travel document with validity of not less than 6 months.

• Completed visa application form.


• Recent passport-sized photograph of the applicant taken within the past 6 months

• Alien income tax or PorNgorDor 91 only in the case where applicant has previously worked in Thailand.

• balance sheet, statement of Income Tax and Business Tax (PorNgorDor 50 and PorNgorDor 30 of the latest year)

• value-added tax registration (PorPor 20)


• 90 - day report at the Immigration Office


The validity for this visa is 3 months on a single entry for a fee of Rs. 3600 and 6 months or 1 year for multiple entries on a fee of Rs.9000. For an additional Rs.300, you can have the visa and passport couriered to your home address. However, the fees and charges are non refundable, even if the application is refused or withdrawn. The advantage of getting a business visa for Thailand is that you can enter the country multiple times without any restrictions. You can stay in the country for not more than 90 days with each visit. You are allowed to apply for extension that can last for consecutive year. However, this relies solely on the decision of the Officer at the Immigration bureau in Thailand.

Work permit

Once you have submitted the above documents and received the approval for your business visa Thailand, you are good to go begin your business. Once you reach the country you must apply for a work permit. To legally work in Thailand, a work permit states your position, current occupation, or job description and also serves as a license to perform a job or an occupation allowed for outside citizens inside Thailand. It will take around 7 days for the work permit to be processed at the ministry of the labour office. Once the permit is granted, he has to carry it with him every time, and can only perform the job stated in the work permit.
