Applying for a visa before the trip
First, you need to get the Thailand visa application form, which is available online and at the visa application center. This is only available to 19 countries that consist of Bhutan, China, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, India, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Maldives, Mauritius, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Taiwan and Ukraine. You can get your visa from anywhere between 10 minutes to a few hours. Here are the requirements to know how to apply for Thailand Visa application on arrival
• The purpose of visit is strictly only for tourism purposes.
• You must have a confirmed return ticket to show exit out of Thailand within 30 or 15 days of entry. Open tickets do not qualify. You can only exit via flying and no other kind of travel. E.g.; Bus, train, boats etc
• You will be asked to show proof that you have funds over 20,000 THB per head during the stay. You may have to pay 1,000 THB upon entry.
