We all know that most of us, after we get home, are so tired from work, and just want to sit on the couch and eat. I want to do that too, but there are many things that can affect your life from doing that. One thing is that when you are tired, you just keep eating. You will not stop. One time, I was on the couch watching a movie, and I didn't even notice and I finished two bags of chips, and I mean those big bags for like a party. That's why being a "couch potato" is really bad.

Here are some tips you can follow to stop being a "couch potato."

-Try to minimize bringing junk food in the house. This is one of the main factors. I mean, if you bring it, you will eat it, no doubt.

- If you will sit on the couch watching a movie and eat, bring a healthy snack. Try to bring carrots, because that is a munching snack that is great to snack on, instead of those junky chips. These carrots, are not only okay if you finish them, but better if you do because they are so healthy for you. You can also bring things like chickpeas to munch on. If you are feeling limited and want to munch on something else, try soy crackers. STAY AWAY FROM COOKIES, CANDIES, SODA, AND CHIPS. Basically, stay away from high sugars, and fried things.

- Never sit on the couch with food while you are tired. This makes you keep eating to stay awake and will never stop. Since you are tired, your brain is not signalling that you are full, but it just lets it come in. If it is something healthy, that is a different thing.

Basically, try to go for the things that are healthy. Being a "couch potato" is really bad for health because you are eating more than usual, and your body cannot do anything about it.
