DiSC is an assessment tool that is used widely by top business managers for various reasons. The assessment mainly focuses on the four personality traits which are then used to form the DiSC profiles. The four traits that are being tested in the DiSC training are:

- D stands for Drive or Dominance

- I stand for Influence or Inducement

- S stands for Steadiness or Submission

- C stands for Caution, Compliance or Conscientiousness

The employers who use DiSC management tools like the DiSC Work of Leaders have experienced positive outcomes. This certification also includes data that shows how to analysis the test scores. Candidates having a high D score are said to be very active and are effective in handling problems while those with low D score like to do a bit of research before taking any decision. Insistent, self-centered, dynamic, striving, resolute and hostile are some of the adjectives that are used for people who score high on the D scale while pleasant, conventional, careful, vigilant, supportive, gentle and scheming are used for the counter parts.

High I score indicates that the candidate is expressive and has an ability to convince people with ease. Such people can be best described by words like passionate, affectionate, alluring, influential, demonstrating, sanguine and credulous. But the candidates with low I score are less emotional and only data and facts can persuade them. They are cynical, doubtful, factual, thoughtful, rational and calculating.

The S score tells how steady a person is in day to day life. A high level on the S scale denotes that the person likes to work in a routine and move with a steady pace. They are said to be composed, tolerant, reliable, regular, conventional, and overprotective. While if a person is more open to changes and varieties will score low in S. Such people are impetuous, hasty, impatient, fervent and effusive.

Finally, comes the C score. People who like to go with the rules and regulations score good in this category. They are organized, polite, diplomatic, wary and precise. Whereas people who like to be independent, score low in this category and are more likely to break rules. They can be said to be obstinate, willful, dogmatic and prejudiced.

With the help of the DiSC Workplace questionnaire, these DiSC profiles can be much beneficial in identifying the personality type of the employers and categorize the work accordingly.
